Caldric Capital is a fee-only investment adviser. We are compensated solely by advisory fees paid by our clients. We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any other compensation from third parties for the sale of financial products.
Caldric Capital’s advisory fee is calculated as a percentage of the assets we manage. This creates an inherent conflict of interest: because our fee increases as the assets under our management increase, we have a financial incentive to recommend that assets be placed or kept under our management, and a corresponding disincentive to recommend uses of those assets outside the accounts we manage — for example, paying down a mortgage or other debt, making charitable or family gifts, purchasing real estate, or directing savings to an employer-sponsored retirement plan we do not manage. As a fiduciary, Caldric is required to act in the client’s best interest notwithstanding this conflict.
